Founders Story
Dimoso Holdings Limited was founded on a partnership built through trust, shared values, and a common vision for creating long-term impact across Zanzibar and the wider region.

The journey began in 2011 when Shilton Tony Irudayaraj and Dr. Yusuf Suleiman Khalfan first met in Zanzibar through a professional engagement. What started as a client–advisor relationship soon evolved into a trusted partnership founded on integrity, strategic thinking, and a commitment to sustainable growth.

Over the years, their collaboration expanded beyond legal advisory into investment structuring, business development, and the pursuit of opportunities capable of driving meaningful economic transformation. Together, they recognized the potential to build an institution that would combine local market expertise with international standards of governance, innovation, and value creation.

Dr. Yusuf contributes deep expertise in legal advisory, governance, institutional leadership, and investment structuring, while Shilton brings entrepreneurial vision and extensive experience across aviation, real estate, hospitality, and emerging markets.

With over two decades of experience in legal advisory, investment facilitation, and corporate strategy, he plays a central role in shaping partnerships, structuring investments, and guiding the group’s expansion across multiple sectors. As the Co-founder of Dimoso & Co. Advocates, he has built a legacy of trust, integrity, and professional excellence that continues to serve as the foundation of Dimoso Holdings' growth and success.
